«Διότι είναι 2015»

Ορκίστηκε χθές, Τετάρτη 4 Νοεμβρίου, ο νέος πρωθυπουργός του Καναδά Justin Trudeau και η κυβέρνησή του. Για πρώτη φορά στην ιστορία του Καναδά, οι υπουργοί είναι ακριβώς μοιρασμένοι στα δύο φύλα: 15 άντρες και 15 γυναίκες. Στην ερώτηση γιατί επέλεξε την απόλυτη ισορροπία , ο Trudeau απάντησε: «Διότι είναι 2015».

Επίσης για πρώτη φορά, στο υπουργικό συμβούλιο συμμετέχει Γηγενής Αμερικανή: η νέα Υπουργός Δικαιοσύνης Jody Wilson-Raybould ήταν μέχρι πρότινος πρόεδρος της Περιφερειακής Ένωσης των Πρώτων Εθνών της British Columbia.
